The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice (ICEFA Lidice) was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice murdered by German Nazis, as well as all other children who have died in wars. This year the exhibition takes place in two different places at once. At the Lidice gallery and at National Technical Museum. The topic for this year is chemistry.

Since 29th May you will have the opportunity to admire the art pieces from children from different countries all over the world in memory of children that were murdered in Lidice during the war. This year will also remind ourselves the 150th anniversary of sorting the chemical elements into the periodic table so the chemistry was chosen as the topic and the exhibition bears the title: "Focus on Lidice, let's examine the art."
