A substantial part of this subgroup is the collection of kinetic objects of Svatopluk Král (see the Mechanical Engineering section) comprised of 175 items collected from the end of the 1980s to the beginning of the 21st century. These objects were for the most part intended for use with mentally or physically handicapped children. The collection includes technical toys, modern samples of the Merkur children's building sets from the beginning of the 21st century and, for example, children's tools from the company Dita Tábor. There are also student designs of kinetic objects and toys. The collection is open to all clever and ingenious play objects that are based on the use of technical design principles.
